Carlos Whitlock Porter was born in 1947 in South Pasadena, California, in a family of Navy officers and lawyers. Mr. Porter studied in Spain and Portugal, and is a financial translator, businessman, and member of the Institute of Linguists, London. He has studied the Holocaust and war crimes trials, including related questions of law, toxicology and chemistry, since 1976, and has written “The Chemistry of the Holocaust” (1978) and is a contributor to “Revisionist Letters” with Bradley R. Smith.
He is also interested in the Japanese war crimes trials, which he believes should be studied together with the German war crimes trials for purposes of comparison. This book concerns the first Nuremberg Trial only, and consists mostly of documentation. Mr. Porter has kept his own comments to minimum.
Mr. Porter renounced his American citizenship in 1984, and travels on a stateless passport.
